Plane delay?

So at the Houston airport we were basically kicked off our plane and transferred to another flight (not for our behavior mid you the plane was "taken out of service"). We're on the new plane but it delayed us by an hour.

I just wonder what the heck 'taken out of service' really means. Oh well, Amber and I were the first 2 on. She had a blast running down the ramp at full speed. Wish I had the camera for that one.
