So we have a great spot on St. Charles Ave. and the parades don't start for another 2hrs. It feels like a tailgate party without the cars. We set out our tarp at 8am and barely got a front row spot. There are families and kids all over the place. Everyone is happy and excited to see the floats. Its quite a different feel from last nights parade. Its a perfect day for this sort of thing. Happy Mardi Gras!
