So today is the first day of our oh-so fabulous Mardi Gras weekend but it comes at a pretty high price. Basically everybody in the house is either sick or just recently recovered from sickness. Its been going on for weeks. We almost had to cancel the trip. In the end our wonderful Sammy looks to be on the mend and our even more wonderful extended family have risen to the challenge. I can't say enough great things about having a good extended family. All my life I have felt that way. Its a wonderful thing. Look for more updates on our adventures later this week.
